OUR MISSION
Gators Baseball will provide players with knowledge, skills, and character development to play baseball the right way, with class and respect.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Our coaches have solid baseball knowledge and skills at both the college and high school level. We emphasize fundamental baseball, grit, passion, hustle, and a “process” and growth mindset, over a fixed “win at all costs” mindset.
RESPECT
We never want to disrespect umpires, opposing fans, coaches, or players. We take our hats off to shake hands at the end of the game. We thank the umpires, opposing parents, and coaches, and give our respect to teammates and fellow Gators family members.
CLASS
We want to play baseball with dignity. We want to raise men of honor -- servant leaders who look out for others first, before themselves. This applies on and off the baseball field.
THE RIGHT WAY
The Gators formed to teach baseball the right way. WE WANT TO WIN, yes. But, we may not win every game. Instead, we teach the process of competing hard fundamentally, how to find joy in the game of baseball, and respond from adversity well. Our hope is to prepare these boys to be successful young men. We want to train them well to eventually lead their families well, and serve others.
